Sight & Sound Systems, Origin Acoustics and Interlogix combine forces for “Operation Finally Home,” which provides mortgage-free, single family homes for veterans and their families.
With Memorial Day just around the corner, familiar faces from the Total Tech Summit recently banded together to change the lives of U.S. Army Sgt. Michael Goodrich and his family.
Joining forces with Operation Finally Home, a non-profit organization dedicated to building custom, mortgage-free homes for veterans and their families, Sight & Sound Systems was responsible for installing technology within the Goodrich family’s new home.
The project broke ground in November of 2016, but the Goodrich finally moved into their new haven at a dedication ceremony held on May 19, 2017.

Sight & Sound Systems, a regularly hosted guest at the Total Tech Summit, ensured that the donated home was up to par with the latest in technology innovations.
“[The Goodrich family] came to our showroom and basically left in tears. They couldn’t believe all the stuff that they’d be getting,” says Maryam Kaymanesh, branding and marketing director for Sight & Sound Systems. “When it came to home automation, they found it to be a great addition to the home and were so happy to hear about it.”
Sight & Sound Systems weren’t the only Total Tech alum to become involved with the project. Sponsors Origin Acoustics and Interlogix were also involved, donating in-ceiling speakers and a custom security system, respectively.
“We already worked with these manufacturers pretty closely, and they were more than happy to participate,” says Kaymanesh.
The team at Sight & Sound Systems notes that they were honored to work with such a wonderful family, and hope their small contribution to Operation Finally Home will bring more joy to the lives of Michael Goodrich, his wife, Jacqueline, and their children, Lucy and Tag.
