Universal Remote Control (URC) has big product plans in place for 2017, and the company is excited to bring these advancements to the 2017 Total Tech Summit show floor.
“In 2017, URC will launch an upgrade to Total Control, our flagship home automation and control system,” says Doug Cole, senior vice president and general manager at URC. “This comprehensive upgrade encompasses hardware, firmware, software and programming updates that continue to differentiate Total Control as our premium, custom whole-house automation and control solution.”
URC’s upgrades include new, next-generation touchscreen interfaces for tabletop and in-wall installation which features on-board audio/video intercom, speaker, microphone and camera features. The upgrade will also offer integration with Amazon Alexa voice control—a trend that URC sees becoming increasingly prominent as 2017 progresses.
Additionally, URC will announce new, top-tier third-party integration partners across key categories.
Building Integrator Relationships
The company also looks forward to the 2017 Total Tech Summit, where it will be able to foster and develop relationships with a wide array of integration professionals. The company calls the event “a terrific networking opportunity that provides solid insights into key industry trends.”
